Meet the Team
Stanton project was conducted by a
capable team of researchers and scientists, including:
Samuel M. Hickey (US)
Visiting researcher at the Arab
Institute for Security Studies focusing on nuclear energy programs in the
Middle East, weapons delivery vehicles, and the proliferation of WMDs. He was
previously appointed an Adjunct Instructor of physics labs at American
University. He received a dual degree from American University in International
Studies with a regional focus in the Middle East, and a Bachelor of Science in
Physics. Sam is currently a Stanton Fellow based at the Arab Institute for
Security Studies studying nuclear energy diplomacy in the Middle East.
Rana F. Sweis
(Jordan)
Visiting researcher at the Arab
Institute for Security Studies focusing on nuclear energy diplomacy in the
Middle East. Rana is a career journalist, most often for the New York Times.
She holds an MA from George Washington University’s Graduate School of
Political Management. Rana is currently a Stanton Fellow based at the Arab
Institute for Security Studies.
